If you stick to the centre of Morecambe or the north promenade it is fine.
Venture to the west end if you speak Polish. There are two superb Golf course's
and both welcome visitors.
The Town boasts one of Britains best sunsets, and it's motto is Beauty surrounds Health Abounds.
It is also a very Cycle friendly resort.
Oh the Statue of Eric Morecambe stands on Central Promenade, there is NOT a statue of Ernie Wise,or Thora Hird who was also born in the Town.
The newly refurbished Art Deco Hotel (the MIDLAND) is also worth a visit.
