did anyone watch this last evening. It ran for about an hour and a half, and was absolutely riveting. Film makers asked ordinary people to film themselves, and the snippets were cobbled together and made into this extraordinary film, a snapshot of life in Britain. If you didn't watch it i hope they repeat it.

enjoy, it's heart warming, heart breaking, funny, awful, but much of what we are about.
I recorded it, but haven't watched it yet em. I saw a very similar film a couple of years ago, but it was clips from all over the world - really good.
Oh I thoroughly enjoyed it Em10.Sad.happy,odd,funny,just so riveting like you said.
By the way, the other film I was on about was called "Life In A Day".
I just watched it on catch-up. Brilliant programme. Sad moments and funny moments.

Tizzi, same people i believe, anyone who didn't watch it should, absolute blinder.
Yes, we watched it. I found it quite hypnotic, and very clever how all the clips had some kind of connection.
Question Author
dare anyone not to shed a tear at the old chap seeing his daughter going down the aisle to get married. That just about finished me off.
Question Author
apparently they had 750 hours of footage, so had to condense it right down. It would make a spectacular series.
