This is the current trend on a lot of programmes but I find it detracts from an otherwise interesting show. Also, on this series, they are giving just a few seconds to some ideas, although these ideas may be a complete flop as far as investment goes, I am sure a lot of viewers would like to hear a bit more.
I think they are being really mean in this series too. Someone, going back into the mists of time, must have given them a chance in business, they have obviously forgotten about it. That woman was also head of a 'failed' business, 'Red Letter Day' and she is so judgemental! Makes my blood boil but find it compulsive viewing.
I agree, this series is far more brutal than the 1st series. David Bannatine (the scottish bloke) is hard too please. The american bloke would scare me the most I think. You would have to answer all his questions correctly to even get a smile from him. Red Letter day woman, must feel gutted being a minor millionaire. Some ideas are bad but worth pitching, but the one that sticks in my head was the smoothie maker lined to the net. Please dont give up your day job!
I used to have to pitch my design ideas to my lecturers at uni, and that was blooming hard, so imagine what they are going through.
