Hi can any one tell me if nettle put in water is a good insecticide for spraying your plants THANKS

I'd have thought it is a good fertiliser for soil application, but don't kow about insecticide.
I've heard of it being used as Mosaic said but not as an insecticide, the only reliable ones I've found are full of chemicals unfortunately.
I've heard that rotted down rhubarb leaves make a good insecticide, could be an old wives tale though.
