my battery went flat and when i got it started the radio was looking for code tried it three times now its blocked how do i reset it as i now have code its a standard ford greeny radio 1995 ford escort. the radio wont let me enter any numbers need to reset it but HOW. PLEASE HELP.Iam lost with no music

on some of the old ford stereos if u release the battery from the system and put it back on again the stereo will give u 3 more goes at entering the right number...not sure but try it..

if u havnt got the correct code number you will have to go to your local ford garage with the serial number of the stereo where they can give u the number,

there are also blokes who travel around with a laptop who can reconfigure the code chip inside the stereo and give u a new code, i had this done once, took 10mins and cost me 20 quid.

i feel for u without music in the car i hate it!

leave your radio on for at least 30 minutes and it will allow you to put in the code again.
