I enjoy the diverse nature of all the members on here and have felt empathy with many. Reading some posts leads me to wonder more about the contributors.Now true answers please, do you consider yourself to be a snob , posh, or like me, down to earth, working class ?

I certainly don't class myself as a snob. I just adapt myself to the circumstances at the time depending upon whom I am speaking to.

Surely you mean on your 'boat' chrissa !LOL You know how the British understate ; a British man's 'place in the country' could be a tiny cottage or Blenheim Palace. In Antibes,where the big Med yachts are, everybody British refers to their yacht as a boat, whether it's 80 or 180 foot overall, as though it were a rowing boat. Even that rare thing, the big sailing yacht, with its enormous sails ,often gets called a boat down there. The brokers who sell them call themselves 'yacht brokers' and advertise them as 'motor yachts', but to the owner they're just ' the boat'
