I'm taking Daddy out for dinner. I was going to cook dinner for him myself, but I decided I couldn't be so cruel.

It's strange but I miss my day telling me the story repeatedly and his endless questions about benefits from some guy at the club.

My dad was a gentleman, a pain in the neck, devoted grandfather and 'a good railman' (whatever that actually means).
