Shoe Polish Problem

If anybody has a tin of dried up shoe polish try mixing in a few drops of white vinegar then,pop in the Microwave for ten seconds. Hey Presto!! Hot vinegary shoe polish!

In the army, they used to put loads of boot polish on their new boots, then set fire, and burnish the leather while still hot.

As a boy, i once put a tin of boot polish in the oven, to soften the wax, and forgot it. The whole kitchen smelled of polish and our food tasted of polish for days !
