sparrows AAAARRRRGGGHHHHH !!!!

Every sparrow in the universe has descended on my patio and they are ripping into my pots that contain Livingstone Daisies.....none of the other stuff...any ideas ? have covered with plastic bags hoping they will clear off and not come back !!

We dont get sparrows here any more, just crows, jackdaws and magpies, pigeons and wild cockateils - the bright green ones that look like parrots and squawk (I think they are cockateils). The odd blue tit, blackbird and robin, and a woodpecker who is lovely.

Sorry MM I can't help with the sparrows but if you get any tips re getting rid of bl00dy seagulls I would be most grateful if you could pass them on.
For some reason hordes of the feckers have taken to nesting on the roofs around here and I daren't go out into the garden for fear of low flying guano.
