When I try to view YouTube videos I get a message saying Adobe Flash needed, and an option to download. I download as instructed and it says it is installed, but when I go back to Youtube I get the same message again, any ideas?

Yes, and its still the same.

Try running the flash uninstaller to remove the old version, then restart the computer and try installing the new version again.

Also make sure you are logged in as an user account with administrative rights.
