At what point? Are you saying the final pass across to the scorer? No- if two players run forward from an onside position they can pass in this way

The man who scored was offside when the ball was played through, at no time did he get back onside.

The pundits don't seem bothered though.

Yes, I've just seen it again and when the ball was scooped forwards the striker was offside by about 30cm

I need to see it again but maybe when the first ball was played forwards the player who was later scored was deemed not to be interfering with play, and then the move entered a new phase.

Judgement seems to be that the original pass to Iniesta was OK and therefor his pass to Navas was also OK

When the ball was played to Fabregas he was level with the last defender so onside.
When he played the ball to Navas he played it square so Navas wasn't offside

Navas is clearly behind the ball when Iniesta squares it, there fore can't be offside
