Is it a set up - are they actors etc - I have just been watching some clips and it can't be real!!

It's real to a point I think, last year they were auditioning in a bar in the next town to me, many likely candidates there!

They are rare but you do get them. I can't watch the programmes, it makes me cringe with embarrassment.

I've never watched too programme but I saw the cast on some quiz show or other. They were so spectacularly thick it was embarrassing

I think the people are real and all know each other (well, mostly) but they're told to go to certain places and have certain conversations which will just happen to be filmed. This might be hard to believe but it's actually more ridiculous now than it was when it first started. I think it pretty much is all completely scripted now and played out by terrible actors. Speaking of which, you should try and catch Mark Wrights (ex Towie) new show. It's so awful you can't help but watch it.

oh yes there are plenty of young girls like that in Essex tottering around on those ridiculous high heels that none of them can walk in ! try Romford on a saturday night they all are well groomed and look like film stars then they opened their mouths ......illusion shattered !

Tinks, do you think the relationships are still real? One or two might be but some are sooooooo set up. I mean the Arg and Gemma thing.....that's just stupid. Watching them kiss was like watching two 10 year olds in a playground who've been told if they don't kiss each other their gona get given wedgies for the next year. Lol
