....in Heywood. We thought it would be the usual thing, you know, here it comes, there it goes, but we were right at the change over point, which was really good. Got some nice piccys.

it is coming through my town in two weeks, and i'm on the list of volunteers to help out in some fashion.
either crowd marshalling - or officiating at one of the many events planned for the day.

It was here in Kendal on Friday morning. I found it quite moving, not sure why.Maybe cos the girl who carried it was disabled, but she still had a grin from ear to ear. Lovely.

We watched it go through Rawtenstall 10CSt, was good wasn't it? Unfortunately i didn't get some good pics or videos as I was behind some large people and right when the torch was passing us a twonk of a policeman was walking alongside and managed to block the flame from sight, lol.

Yes excel, there's been a ballot for tickets for local residents to attend, we have been lucky enough to get some - big show on the seafront here in the evening, before the Torch goes up to Dover Castle for overnight.
