Anyone got any tips? I am invited on a hen night leaving sat night and getting eurostar back 10am. They are planning not to book a hotel but just stay out all night. On my previous visits to paris I have not seen that it is a 24 hour city such as London is on a saturday night.. help!

You should buy Pariscope - a listing mag like our Time Out - which is on sale at the Waterloo station bookshops (though you may have to ask for it), which covers clubs, bars etc. Though you're probably right that Paris is less of a 24-hour city than London - which may surprise some people - hopefully you'll find enough to do until it gets light, when I would recommend some early morning sightseeing (and detoxing) up on Montmartre or by the Seine, before they are inundated by crowds of tourists. Then find a nicely located caf terrace for coffee and croissants before your train home - or better still miss it and stay over a night or two. (Incidentally, until March I would have been able to direct you to Pariscope's excellent online version, but it has ceased publication.)
Check out this website.... www.worldsbestbars.com also the Bastille is a great place for bar crawling. Hope you have a great time. Paris is fab!
