I buy some each week but does anyone know of anyone who has won a MAJOR prize on them. The most I have ever won was £150 on a single card some years ago.

Nope, haven't bought one for years. When they first came out my friend won £50 which seemed a lot then.

Shortly after the lottery started I had all the numbers and a bonus number come up.
Trouble was I had two numbers on each of three lines.....

I got fake ones once...every one was a winner....really bad joke to pull on my ex LOL....but in real life, nope .....i know someone who scratched a full roll once and won nothing xx

Yes a local girl won either £250K not long after they were issued. Her husband had recently left her for someone else. In the very same week another local lady, the mother of my husband's mate, won £450K on the National Lottery.

No, I've never heard of a big winner!
I've still got a small collection of the first ones that were issued, unscratched, in the hope that one day they'll be worth more than I paid, wishful thinking I suppose.

The shop where I used to do the lottery sold a scratch card which produced a prize of 20K.
The shopkeeper told me that whoever had bought it didn't even come back to give him the price of a drink.

A woman won 25k round here... I never do them. I think I bought one when I was 16 as a novelty but that's it! My cousin got ID'd for one in Glasgow... She's 26!!! Lol!!

I don't bother with them anymore, I used to buy one on occasion but the most I ever won was a piece of cardboard and silver flecks on my fingers.

Think I did win a tenner once, life changing stuff.

I was at Moorfields hospital today with Mr S and I was talking to the young dishy guy who makes the appts and the conversation came around to the lottery and he said he had never won a bean but three months ago he won 5 grand on a scratch card !

Still hoping. The most I've won is £75. Recently I bought 4 £2.00 scratchcards and I've won £26 with them

I won £500 on one a few years ago. I bought 2 and won £1 so I went staight back in and got 1 more won another £1 so I put £1 to it and got 2 more and won £500. Granddad Grump didn't beleive me.

When one of the daily papers was running a competition to win a cabriolet I thought I'd won and rang him at work in a pub to tell him. I then double checked the numbers only to find that I had made a mistake and had to ring him back. I said "how many people have you told?" and he said"Everyone" I did feel a fool and so did he when he had to tell everyone how daft I was.

I know someone who got a "scratchcard " out of a magazine , you must of had one sometime or other , they are more like thick shiny paper ... anyway she scratched it and lo and behold shed won a draw to go into the main draw for a new car ( everyone " wins " on them ) she phoned the " premium rate number and entered , she won the car , i saw it , god nows how much the phone call cost her but to win a car ?

How's this for a coincidence as regards to my post of yesterday. Went round my local shop this morning and YES did buy 4 scratchies and mentioned to the lady serving me about this post and she told me that a couple of weeks ago a 18yr old person had gone into another nearby shop bought a Bingo Scratchie (first one of a new roll) and won the top prize of £300.000 . So I think I'll keep on trying and HOPING.
