Egg Donation

I was wondering if anyone knew the process involving egg donation. I am considering it but I am a complete wuss when it comes to pain! I am hoping it can be done while I am knocked out! I have an appointment with my GP in a couple of weeks to discuss it but just wondered if anyone here had done it or looked into it?

I don't know what it entails Tinks and I don't know what the ins and out are, so to speak! Hopefully my GP will point me in the right direction and I will give it serious thought xxx

Its due to the increased risk of genetic abnormalities when a woman gets older Well done though but don't close the door on having them yourself.. you might meet mr Right next week...

What a brave, kind thing to do, hat's off to you Vodka!
If I'm guessing right, there will be more than on egg to harvest, have you considered maybe putting a few of them "on ice" for yourself? You never know. Pregnancy and delivery is the easiest part as Mazie said earlier, all you need to do is remember to pick up your dignity once you leave the labour ward! The scary bit comes after the delivery, but it is well worth it.
