No, not her health - not great, much the same as ever, now that the she no longer has the warming effect of the Egyptian sunshine.
Mrs Overall, whose post on my last thread I have now seen, seems to think Mrs BJ sounds wrong. Any suggestions? If you can introduce a Scottish element, that would be great.
I'm not keen on Mrs J , or using our surname initial, and other examples like OH don't appeal either. I thought of LW (little woman), as she is shorter by a foot, and lighter by several stones, added to which I can sell it to her as "lovely wife", if she ever gets round to reading this guff.
PS she's a redhead of Scottish/Irish extraction.

Sunny dave I'd like to think it would be She Who Thinks She Must ... , but I doubt I'd get away with it!
Gness - very, even giving away so much weight and reach, and having a debilitating illness!

Good one, but a bit lengthy for regular use. Unless, of course, I just use copy and paste each time.
Thanks.

Wee Jackie :-)

What's wrong with just saying 'my wife'?
Wee Jimmy Krankie
'er - indoors?
The wee woman.
If she's a member of AB - as my OH is - you could call her by her user name :-)
Perhaps that's too simple, Boxtops!

Apologes to anyone expecting a response before this.
Still a bit fragile after several days of lurgi (2 weeks in Egypt, no problem, 3 days London .....)
On balance, I think Mrs J is simplest, easily recognosable to any reader.
Thanks for all suggestions.
Get better soon and hello Mrs J.
Trish is know though out the family as the Boss, dating back to when we first got together. Some of my nephews invited me to a night out and one of my nieces commented that I'd got a new boss now I'd got to ask permission. Since then she's always been "Uncle Paddy's Boss" or the "Boss " for short. Incidentally she's not a Scot but she has lovely auburn hair.
