Last week I ordered a kingsize bed and mattress from Argos. They gave us 10th July delivery, then two days ago they rang to say it would no w be delivered on Tuesday 3rd July. As we want to decorate the room before the new bed goes in, we dismantled the old bed and took it to the tip yesterday.
This morning Argos rang to say that the bed is now out of stock and they can't deliver it!!!
Not only that, but they now say it will take 3-5 days to get a refund on my card - why? It only took seconds to take the money off the card!
Luckily, we have a double bed in the spare room we can use, but as the family are coming on 15th we have to find a new bed by then.
I will never order anything from Argos again, no wonder they are in trouble.
i had a similar thing happen with a cooker from curry's ... took out the old cooker the night before delivery AS INSTRUCTED and then the cooker was out of stock! AND had to pay more for another one if i wanted it straight away!
