So earlier I bumped into my ex (I hate that term) and it turns out that since we split up she over did it with her obsession of keeping herself busy and snapped her achillies tendons.

A part of me was worried, but another part of me was thinking that it was karma for her being such a b*tch to me.

She also complained to me that she hadn't had any adult conversation as she hadn't been doing her job for a while, I said hat she knows where I am and could always talk to me, to which she said "I will be fine" and brushed it aside.
Later when I said I was going, she said "I still have your number by the way"....
I'm not sure what to make of the whole thing, part of me hates her for being such a bad person to me but part of me wonders what she meant when she still had my number.

We split up in February and she has been pretty much in a cast, hospital and then housebound since March, only the past couple of months they have put a huge boot type thing on one of her legs so that she can get around. I think the loose end would be that she doesn't go out and do anything anymore, which was pretty much an insult when we were together as she would mostly sit there going through the tv guide al night and not want to choose a channel.

I agree with joeluke. Sounds like she doesn't want a relationship, but may be interested on keeping you in a friend with benefits type of situation.

Unless she comes straight out and tells you she wants another go with you, I would let her be. Don't let her mind games get to you, she was testing the water to see how you would react.

You deserve better, if someone wants to be with you, they'll make it very clear, leave the game playing and mind games to those who aren't mature enough to play fair. You deserve so much better.

No woman will throw away a man who likes them, they keep them in reserve just in case.......... she knew that you like her because of what you said..............she doesnt want you but you might one day be useful if she is bored and needs some entertainment/company.


No woman would admit this, but its true......it might be true of men too but i couldnt comment on that .......................
