Thing is Maggie Jensen Button,Lewis Hamilton,Nigel Mansell,Frank Bruno,all World Champions and all our Gold medal Olympians as far as I know who are English,have always been referred to as British not English.

Scots seem to have an enormous chip on their shoulder about Murray..If he was English he'd be called British but you wouldn't support him half as much, if at all!

It doesn't matter if he is classed as British does it? He is playing for the UK. I'm Scottish and I am obviously one of the few who support England in anything (unless they are playing against Italy! )
Anyway, he played very well in the second half...he obviously needed that break.

Too much is made of his Scottish/British thing. More important is his ability. I knock him cus I consider his ability and performance in the big arena is way short of what is required to win a Grand Slam.He won last night ,yes.When he comes up against a top player in a competition that matters it will be goodbye Tim.
