the common (and annoying) cold

I've had this cold for what seems like months, obviously taken cold & flu remedies but nothing seems to shift it. I'm not sneezing all the time - more like snuffling (it's the stuff that gets stuck between your nose and throat - the horrible catarrh). Now I'm absolutely fed up with it! A little better for that rant, though!

Might it be an allergy? That seems a heck of a long time for a cold to last.

Well, if the catarrh is coloured and thick, your nose blocked,it sounds as though it is a sinus problem necessitating nasal decongestants and antibiotics.

Thanks to both of you, I fear it is the old sinus problem. I have my inhaler ready!

I sound like a broken record....Have you tried sterimar? Its a filtered seawter spray, you spray it up your nose and inhale and it soothes and washes out the crud. No drugs, no side effects and it works.
