i need some sort of ID that will be accepted in a club etc, i dont have enough time to get a passport as i need it quite soon. any ideas?

Prove It card - forms in your local off licence.

Birth certificate and some photographic proof that it's you on the certificate? Or, if you feel you need definite guidance, try ringing up a pub/club and asking them what sort of ID they'd accept. Just don't get too drunk and lose your ID!

If it's that desperate you can get a passport in a day by going to a passport office and paying an enhanced fee. You would have to say you were travelling somehere urgently though - a club doesn't count =+)

Different age cards for various needs. My son needs one to prove he is under 16 so got a 12-15 year old one last week.
card came really quickly posted application Wednesday got card on Saturady. application needs countersigning.
