nine of the answers have something to do with blue I have seven. 11a could either be a normal answer of connected to 'blue' the letters I have are 'n?t????
6d crosses at the last letter the clue is (goes on run and is upset surrounded by annoying people) (8) ?m???s?s my feeling is that it is 'impulses' which would make 11a's last 'u' unless of course both are again associated with 'blue' I still have two more to do but the above are driving me mad, to save my sanity help would be greatly appreciated thankyou

Phebe, I'm afraid that you are way off with delphinium. Bibblebub is quite correct in that 6d is persists. To help you with 8a the crustacean is "prawn".

I was so stuck on spanworm for caterpillar I never thought of silkworm I'd just realised before your answers that 8a was periwinkle its all finished now I always photocopy so haven't messed up the original. my heartfelt thanks to you all, I just hate getting stuck in a corner.
