torch coming through my town sunday morning.

i registered as a volunteer with the council some weeks ago (crowd marshalling or whatever they need)

got the call a few minutes ago - telling me my assignments for the day.
i'm really looking forward to being a part of a unique event - not just spectating.

Yes excel, quite south of Cambridge, I'm right on top of the White Water Rafting venue.

Only if I bunk in! And I think my shimmying over wall days are well and truly over. Out of the whole shebang, there is only 5 days worth of events, so jopefully it won't disrupt the area too much.
