Good morning. I REALLY don't believe it! I have woken up to sunshine; remember? that big shiny thing in the sky. North Wales has had rain for a solid fortnight, and when it's bleak in North Wales IT IS BLEAK! Still very windy though and I still have the heating on. Let's see what the afternoon brings. goodmorning all too many to mention but a big hello from moi.
Sun is shining, took dogs out at 6.30am and then gave the downstairs the "Saturday once over" just in case we have visitors.washed all the dogs stuff and its outside drying - dont like doggy smells in the house-.Yesterday a trivial expense turned into a big one ! the back light had gone in the car, drove to Citreon and they replaced 2 back lights for the enormous sum of about 4 quid but told us the front tyre needed changing asap but they dont stock tyres so we drove to our usual tyre shop who said we definately needed 2 new front tyres and as our MOT is due next month ----- you guessed it best to change the backs as well or at least check them before the MOT date so we had 4 new tyres so all in all it wasnt a cheap day out.

Just back from my run. It is the first time this summer I have had to run in such heat. Can't believe it.

Yes thanks Tony. Late after a really awful journey. Some crashes and bumps from drivers going too fast and a ferocious car fire. Then I cooked so we are out for eggs benedict this morning to make up for that.

i'm about to go into town to run some errands .. hope to get back home before the weather turns for the worse.

then it's sit back and watch the F1 qualifying on the haunted fishtank.

i'll have an early night tonight - as i'll be up at 0600 tomorrow for my day of torch-relay duties.
