Reasons to be cheerful

1. I love my new Ford Focus Zetec (but it's a 2Ltr and does guzzle)

2. I have a job interview (if only I could open attachment and find out when it is)

3. Mr G's insurance company have made a v. generous pre-medical compensation offer which I've accepted.

4. I am going out for dinner tonight.

5. It's not raining....yet...

Have a lovely dinner and if it rains...dance in the puddles!
I`m cheerful because my daughter arrived safely after a horrible journey and we are seeing my lovely but crazy family from UK and Ireland today.

1. It has stopped raining. Had a bit of a downpour earlier.

2. Got rid of the nasty smelling renal cat food. Going to start giving Blue tablets instead. Had a go using a small crunchy last night and it didn't seem to bad and she didn't choke :o)

3. The VirginMedia technician is due today to fix by box as I've been having problems with BBC iPlayer.

4. I'm making Thai curry for dinner.

5. I've been searching for car insurance and I've found one £200 cheaper than last year on comparethemeerkat.com.

1. Oz rellys have moved on to extended family
2. No more daily shopping, Oz's consider shopping as walking exercise :(
3. Less tinnies & bottles to clear, when I 'find' them (hidden under sofa etc)
4. Panic over with hire cars
5. phew, phew, phew - can catch my breath till they return in 4days

Beware, Ford car with Oz flag on rear; they're heading for the Lake District.

Enjoy the torch Excel (I'm much further south than Colchester), the kids thought it was great, there was some Chinese dragons and other performers apparently. I watched it on the live feed from the comfort of my sofa.

or tomorrow if the weather is dire
I have a new camera
I I lose Sky to the weather, there are movies to watch.
I am going to make some more coffee
