Imagine you were going on a diet tomorrow and were going to eat today like there was no tomorrow.
For breakfast I'd have a couple of fried eggs, some rashers, a few sausages, left over boiled potatoes sliced and fried until crispy round the edges, and a few tomatoes.
Nothing too taxing on the old digestive system.
What would you have?

looks like? lol
you wouldn't get all that on a saucer - some people put up hurdles before they've even tried
Daughter`s pancake stack with crispy bacon, egg, blueberries and the cream she uses. Won`t wake her up to ask. Strong, really good black coffee.
And Guinness.
Kippers and a poached egg.
Definitely fried potatoes like I had in New York/Canada (home fries?), some crispy bacon (had the most gorgeous stuff in Yosemite National Park in California, turkey bacon I think), some very dippy fried eggs (have to be dippy!) and some herby sausages like Cumberland, plum tinned tomatoes or grilled vine tomatos, good quality baked beans and lots and lots of mushrooms (LOVE mushrooms!).

Maybe some toast a white after with proper butter or cold with butter not all melted in and some not too strong shredless marmelade with no bits in it (have to have butter cold and visible on marmelade toast!).

Love hot buttered but that would be more of a later thing for me like a treat supper if in late or coming in from the rain after riding or doing something else energetic... (not that that tends to happen much these days haha!).

Large glass of fresh orange juice.

A large caffetiere of fresh coffee with milk and brown sugar to go with.

And some fresh air and a nice view :)

Delicious and remind me of holidays and stuff too - am going for the full on breakfast "experience" here :)
I'm going round to gness' to pinch her daughter's breakfast
pizza!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have just had what I call an indulgent breakfast and thoroughly enjoyed it. Oatcakes with Stilton cheese with apricots. And I had marmite on a couple of the outcakes.
Bacon and egg roll on crusty bread/toast and proper coffee. I like fried breakfasts too. And fried breakfasts should always have baked beans but not tomatoes.
Oooh Tilly - I thought I was the only person outside Stoke who loves real Staffordshire Oatcakes - fried in the fat from the bacon, then served with a couple of fried eggs, bacon, sausage, black pudding ... mmmmmmm

Fruit & Fibre it is then :+(
My OH is cooking a fry up as we speak.

We have...sausage, bacon, fried egg, black pudding, grilled toms, tinned toms, beans, mushrooms.

(I won't eat the sausage and bacon)
Very rarely have a full fry up these days but if I must and you insist .....and someone else cooks it for me ..
Then I'll have egg, bacon, sausage ,cold fried spuds(or bubble) ,tomatoes and fried bread . Then some really thick white toast and marmalade washed down with a cup of tea .
Then I really would have to go and lie down for the rest of the day :)
Toast, salmon, poached eggs anda few fresh toms
Sunny dave, I can't get oatcakes where I live. I have to wait until I go 'home'.

Next week, I've got relatives visiting for a few days and they will bring me two dozen.
Terrible isn't it - the rest of the country doesn't know what it's missing.

When I go up to the Peak District I buy a big bagfull - they freeze really well - I used to live near Chapel-en-le-Frith and became addicted :)
