Super suit and social club run by demons...

Anyone remember this movie and its name from the 80's. Basic plot is family moves into new neighbourhood and there is a socialite club there recruiting everyone, but the husband starts to suspect that something is amis. Essentially his family get recruited but he has to go and rescue them from what turns out to be hell I think, but he has to use a special environmental suit he has developed to do it.
