post op sore lips
1 Answers
My elderly mum had a procedure under general anaesthetic 2 weeks ago..
when she came back on the ward she had a drip as had got dehydrated with the long wait .. her lips looked grazed and very dry..
thought this would improve after a few days....but she still feels they are burning, or swollen ( dont look swollen) and have the sensation you when you have cold sores..
Has anyone ever had this problem..........she has had many ops but never had any prolems...
thanks..
