Rain after glossing exterior.
6 Answers
I have had the fashias re-painted on the front and back of the house but it rained before they had time to dry.
The Chap who painted them said they would be ok and they do look alright as the rain doesn't exactly hit straight onto them but will the rain have caused any damage as the warmer weather comes in.?

The oil based paint most likely won't show any effects, but latex based paints sometimes will show streak marks if rained on when it's fresh. I'd agree you're most likely safe, but even that surmise depends on how glossy your paint finish was intended to be. Lower gloss or satin (as it's called here in the U.S.) usually hides imperfections better better than shiny, higher gloss ones...
