BT records. 0800 numbers.

0800 numbers do not appear on my telephone bill. In connection with a benefit claim I need to provide proof that I telephoned the agency on a certain day. Does anyone know whether BT does have a record of my calling an 0800 number even though it does not include the call on the bill?
