Free Screensaver Maker?

I need a screensaver maker that is freeware or free for educational use. I want to show a slideshow of images. Can anyone help?

For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.Can't remember if this is on all versions of Windows, but on XP you can go into Control Panel> Appearances and Themes> Choose a Screensaver then select "My Pictures Slideshow" from the options. If you click on settings, there are a number of options to fiddle with (including choosing which folder it is using for the pictures).

Around 6 months ago I used a program called Eclipse Screensaver from Active Media. Downloaded the the trial version from either PC Plus web-page or ZDNET (can't remember which but that's the two I regularly use). Had all the photos of the kids scanned or saved already and within a couple of hours had two fairly decent Screensavers. (Tip - make sure you keep the individual image files as small as possible)
