twisted approach as to what Christianity built its foundation from. It's an eye-opener. Some ppl like it, some ppl don't. That's why its so freakin' big. I enjoyed it, but I take it as a fictional story, that's all.

Go to Tesco's. Buy "The Da Vinci Code" - paperback novel, really cheap. Read book. Make up own mind. Simple eh ?

MmeB is quite right (about being able to borrow it from the library for free, if they've got it in stock), not sure I agree about it being a "rubbish" book - value judgement surely. I enjoy a good yarn and it hooked me in. Probably worth a different thread on how good/bad/awful a particular book is. Hey, at least we're discussing it.... free society and all that. I'll post a thread about Louis Sachar's "Holes" and see how many folk have read that.

I loved it !!! I bought the hardback limited edition Illustrated version and it's very good. As suggested above, get a copy and read it for yourself with an open mind... and do it before the film is released next year.

Try the revisionist history books Browne 'borrowed' his ideas from - the HolyBlood and Holy Grail; Bloodline of the Holy Grail; The Hiram Key. All great books.

If you like a good thriller then it is is fantastic read in my opinion. I couldnt put it down.
