Thanks 4 interview advice
4 Answers
Thanks to those who posted done good I yet use advice this mOrning. The interview went fairly well I "think" though who ever knows for sure (I'll hear tomorrow) incidentally I DON'T think I would want to accept the job if I was offered it. Great people etc ..,, but I can tell from the interview that's it's just not " me ".... My new question is : who does one decline a job offer gracefully??? Bearing in mind it is in the same nhs trust that I currently work in and I don't ever want to offend folk .,,, word goes around if they happens. (of course I may NOT get offered job but want advice just in case)

Someone recently said to me that having an interview is hugely good experience (and I agree), and if you get offered the job, you don't have to take it.
Tell them quickly though, so they can offer it to the next best person - there is nothing worse that telling the unsuccessful people, then having to backtrack because the person offered it, declined. That happened to a colleague, she was the second chance person, having been told she hadn't got the job, and felt very "second best".
