Had a lovely walk at the seaside this morning with my sister, warm and sunny! Go home about 4pm, made us a welcome cup of tea and thrn went to walk the dog circa 5.30. I got soaked before I got back though must say I did enjoy the walk even if she did try to hide under me sometimes. Should explain she HATES rain!
Was going to moan and then realised how lucky I am to be able to walk, rain or not. Just thinking of the many people I know and ones I don't who would give anything to be able to get up and go for a walk when they felt like it but can't because of various illnesses. Never take good health for granted!

My wife and I used to walk often but she has arthritis in her legs and one of her feet now which restrict her but she does like to walk as much as she can.
She's had one knee replacement and the other one will be done eventually but, unfortunatel y, nothing can be done for the foot apart from the occasional injection which doesn't last very long.

We just have to adapt but as you say, spotit, those of us who can walk without restriction are very fortunate..
