I have inherited a small property which I do not wish to be registered in my name but under some form of trust for my 6 year old granddaughter. If a trust is set up, can the trust be registered with the land registry as the property owner?

If you are thinking of a trust of any type I would suggest you take professional advice, as it is a very specialised area of law, make sure you fully explain what you are trying to achieve and take care over who are trustees as they will have a wide range of powers and duties and should have agreed to being trustees.
