i help with car maintenance, 2 hours in a+e 2 litres of saline and ointment for a cornea with an abrassion grrrrrr, well at least the staff had some entertainment!
Because i was apparently the daftest injury of the day! Did feel sorry for one lass in there when i was only 19 and caught denghi fever last year and it keeps reoccurring.
I had an ulcer on my cornea and it really hurt (himself got a brick in his eye that fell down a chimney and he wasn't allowed any painkillers as the doc said he needed to be able to feel if it was getting infected, poor sod was in agony - bet he still doesn't wear safety googles when he is looking up a chimney). He your eye feels better soon, x
I usually wear goggles, but i was flitting in and out as it was my daughters tea time. i looked a pleb with a wet towel on my face in a+e but pointless was on the tv so i was answering the questions whilst i waited.
