Tomorrow she's taking part in an investigation into diabetes (she's diabetic) where she will be poked, prodded and stuck with sharp pointy things - as she also has a phobia about needles (makes life difficult for a diabetic) she'll be up to high doh by about 11.00 in the morning and would gladly trade your place at the tin whistles and ocarinas for hers at the hospital. (BTW I'm her mum and she's off to bed now, peace at last!!)
I don't think it's that serious - I won't feel anything!!! Don't take it to heart she is (so I'm told) being paid for the investigations thing, as she's been diabetic since she was 2 years old and has never really known any different. The needle thing is getting a bit better these days, used to be hell on wheels when she was younger - she'd be fine with me or her dad giving the insulin jabs but when she needed a vaccination and so forth hysteria reigned!!
