Will £11 Million make it right for this immigrant?

AN immigrant is trying to sue the UK Government for £11MILLION — for making him “unhappy”.
Daniel Kiunsi claims officials violated his human rights by confiscating his passport three years ago.
The grasping Tanzanian says it caused his family “great unhappiness” and insists the authorities should have provided
for their “basic needs” such as food, rent, council tax bills and other costs.

Kiunsi says he “scientifically calculated” the £11million using internationally accepted methods and has issued a claim with the
High Court. The electrical engineer, in his forties, had been in the UK on a work visa but left to take a job abroad. When he returned, officials seized his passport as he didn’t qualify to re-enter. He was let in to arrange for his family to leave — but is still here.

Kiunsi is citing his right to liberty, a fair trial and private and family life —
plus human rights laws relating to “torture or inhuman or degrading treatment”.

Obvioulsy our failure to privde a £10m kensington house a flash new motor and enough brass for him to live in luxury!

he was unlucky in coming though on a day when border staff weren't on strike, so he should probably sue their union as well.

He's basically trying a 'You've won a lottery you didn't enter! Send me 11million pounds to claim it' scam with the government.

Not sure what the problem is.

If the Immigration officials acted legally, this will be thrown out of court and nothing will be paid to him.

It would be embarrassing and costly if they were in the wrong though.
