Hi all, I have been given a garden statue of an oriental old man (priest, I think) with an open 'prayer' scroll extending from his right hand at shoulder height to his waist , in his left hand, resting on his waist, is 'cupped' what looks like half an advocado with the stone in the middle. I have 'googled'50 odd pages and cannot identify this . Any one into oriental religious iconary, any guidance much appreciated

Ellipsis, Muchas, Muchas Gracias-,' perfecto' as they say here in Spain( or something like that). Nice to put a name to the old-chap. Thank you all for your deliberations, great to know you are out there, G
You're welcome Puzzled001, but sandyRoe did the hard bit in finding the image. From that, I sinply did a Google search to find similar images.

It's easy when you know how ...

Go to www.google.com
Click on "Images"
Click the Camera button in the search box
Enter the URL of the image you want to use as the search query
You'll then find other images like that one
