In an attempt to convince myself all is not completely lost on here Im after suggestions for what to do with my week off work.

I don't have tons of cash and can't go away as I've no one to look after the cat.

Will probably spend the odd day with sis and kids but any other suggestions to make the most of my supposedly de-stressing week off?

Can you maybe learn something new? Have a look in the local library and see if there is anything on, or maybe the sports centre may have something.

What about having a big clearout and listing some stuff for quick sale on ebay and make a bit of cash?

Go to the Works or something get a big canvas and do a bit of artwork?

Errm - clean or paint stuff in the house?

Get some cheap plant pots and decorate them and plant them up?
Why are you starting to think that all is lost on here?

Not long moved into this house Annie so had a huge clear out before and it's rented so can't really decorate. I could spend a day trying to sort out the jungle at my dads house though I suppose. Then I'd also have two decent meals in a week.

It's just so boring ummmm. Too much arse licking and the same old posts again and again.
It depends where you are and what you like doing - I'd tend my veggie garden, take a train journey somehere and back, or go to an exhibition.

There some ideas on here listed by category or by region. Whatever you decide I hope the sun continues to shine for you.
EvianBaby.

place the cat in a cattery (they can bill me)
pack your bags and passport.
i'll be round first thing in the morning to whisk you off to the bahamas for a week of sun and relaxation.
There's normally nothing to stop you decorating, most landlords are open to it unless you are knocking walls down of course.
Book yourself in at a local salon fro a pedicure/massage/facial etc.

Treat yourself to a nice lunch and a glass of wine.

Go to a local deli, pick up some treats and go and sit by the river or in the park with a good book and indulge yourself.

You've got a week of great weather ahead don't waste it.
Awww u ok evian :0( Xxx
Walk round town with a sandwich board saying, "I'm an Ab-er and proud of it."

Actually, I think the problem is more me than here really. I'm not a very nice person at the moment and my mum always said (despite all the bitches failings) if you can't think of anything nice to say, don't say anything at all.

I might see if I can book myself in for a spa day. There's quite a famous luxury spa just round the corner from me. Might see how much a day pampering myself there would be.
this might sound daft to you but volunteer at the nearest cat or dog rescue for a few days everyone there will love you and you will feel loved, just show up and say tell me how I can help.
Hope u enjoy your week off anyway.

LOL
treat yourself to a spa day...not my type of thing..but lots of people love
to do that...go for a long bike ride, taking a picnic..or take yourself in the
car out into the country. enjoy whatever you do!!

Did you buy anything from that furniture shop you were saying about a while
ago..there was a sale on...quite an expensive place I think it was.
