they are not called battery hens anymore because they now live in enrichment cages ! poor little devils

Thanks for posting this. The conditions that they live in are a little better but anyone who has ever kept hens know how much they enjoy wandering around and interacting with other hens and humans. They all have such different personalities.

They ought not be called battery hens anyway. When I tried to insert the battery it made an awful fuss.
