Tracing a phone number

My son is abroad at the moment and has missed calls from an 0113 number, I have tried looking it up without much success. Seen a couple of comments mentioning nuisance calls. Anyone know how you can find out who the number is?

0113 is code for Leeds
Put the full number into Google. If it's a nuisance number the odds are that someone will have reported it.

I tried this site a moment ago to trace a call to my phone this morning. It actually gave me the name of the firm!

If he's abroad, it's just as well he missed it - you still pay through the nose to receive calls from the UK when you are out of the country. The costs have come down a lot but it's still not cheap.

He did try to phone it but got no response. Thanks spotit and boxtops - it does seem like its junk. He has blocked the number now. Thanks for the help.
