im interested in a few pieces of jewelry from this site but im a bit dubious to use this company as there is no central address only a PO BOX address, it also states that its in my local area but i have never seen this place. Has anyone dealt with this company before? if so what were your opinions on them and their pieces? Oh also what is platinum clad? lol

Their return and sales polices fully satisfy their legal obligations, so I think the company is okay. Can't vouch for the quality of the jewellery though

'Platinum clad' is a fancy way of saying 'platinum plated', i.e. the thinnest possible layer of platinum on top of base metal. I'd be as dubious as you, or even more, about a company that uses such poorly-defined terms to make its products sound better.

Platinum clad
In our adverts and catalogues we state very clearly “set in 18ct Gold or Platinum clad…” This wording makes it clear that the jewellery is not solid gold or platinum but is gold or platinum clad. However, we elaborate further with the following copy: “All Tru-Diamonds pieces are set in 18ct Gold or Platinum, clad on a core of sterling silver…….” The term “clad” is used instead of “plated” because “plated” refers to jewellery that has an electron plating 1 to 1.5 microns. Our jewellery is, in fact, “clad” with an outer layer 4 microns of gold or platinum.
