Irate Daughter

Just had a text from my daughter who is on holiday in London. They trailed to the Docklands Museum at Canary Wharf to find it is closed and has been taken over by the Germans. Ironic really, when one of the floors is devoted to telling how the Germans bombed the docks to pieces during the war. She says there are a lot of irate east enders (real ones) having a moan.

Duh......Many thousands of foreigners here for Olympics, yet dizzy Brit chooses this time to visit a London museum, then moans because loads of non Brits are also there! Duh, and double Duh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What a shame for your daughter Mrs, that museum is one of the best in London, I love it there. What do the Germans want with it?

They are probably going to dismantle it & rebuild it in Dortmund, I don't really think we own anything now in the old UK.
