Free glasses with petrol

here's a thing, apparently, if you still have any, they are 'vintage' according to eBay. Plus, anyone remember crystal d'arc? i had a fruit set when we married in 1978, guess what? that's 'vintage' now too : ( even woolies finest are being flogged as 'vintage'. where is the cut off?

I saw Wayne Hemmingway on something and he said vintage was stuff that was more than twenty five years old.

I'm still using some of my free with petrol glasses - the ones that didn't get broken. Don't think I'll bother with ebay, they're still useful.

Just worked it out. My glasses have to be well over twenty-five years old as I mived from the place where I lived when I got them twenty-six years ago. So they are definitely vintage.

That crystal d'arc glassware was sold everywhere, we collected a fruit set for our bottom drawer in the late 60s. But do you remember how dangerous they were, without warning, they suddenly exploded into millions of pieces! We had several go like this, very dangerous. I think we have one smokey brown glass mug left now, and nobody sells them any more.

ravenglass is also vintage apparently, oh and arcoroc, remember that? amazing really, woolies sold them by the thousand.

I have 6 Arcoroc smoke glass mugs. Bought them about 35 years ago. One has a chipped edge but the others are OK. Still use daily, damn things are indestructible.

O yes dotty - I think it was Arcoroc I was thinking about when I remember them shattering .............. got mixed up on the name.
