He didn't get extra marks.....he had incorrectly been docked marks. Once that situation had been remedied Japan ended up ahead of us.

We would have felt similarly aggrieved had the situation been reversed.

I've just been reading the report on it. It's a shame but seems fair enough. You wouldn't want another team to be able to say we got silver by fluke or cause the judges were idiots.... Bronze seems about right and is still a good achievement all things considered.

Bronze was a fantastic result, fair and square, silver would have been unfair to the Japanese, rules is rules. The error was corrected.

It was hugely emotional watching it earlier, but now I'm over it I will celebrate the gymnasts' bronze rather than be disappointed they didn't get silver.
