Anybody know if it is true that John Lennon donated money to the IRA ?

in 2000 Yoko Ono said he did not give money to the IRA. but can you believe than woman

some of the beatles did give money to organitions maybe one was the ira (allegedly)


Don't forget that the present (ex) troubles started with civil rights movements protesting the lack of inequality being shown towards sectors of the Northern Irish society, mainly though inequal housing. Also, it didn't gain the notoriety in the rest of the world as it did in England as quickly.
