Television Comedy Programs Quiz

Can anyone please help me I have completed this quiz apart from two words which is a comedy program. The two words i need to complete this goes in this sentence. The older couple happily tag along because they are ( 5,4)
for a bit of fun.

It is a Scottish program but I believe the comedy still works south of the border.

beejay, there was a pub whose name escapes me, a shop with an Indian shopkeeper who had a wife whose face you never saw, a friend with one leg called Winston and a nosy old bat whose name I forget. The two main characters were called Victor and...something else
