For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.The problem would be that legally you could not stop anyone from just wandering in. Other than that I think it would be no diffrent from a wind break as it is a temporary structure only there for a few hours.
Not a good idea in the high season at a well known beach , ( like August at Blackpool,) but out of season or on a secluded beach you would probably get away with it.
